Over the years, my first born Grace has had the privilege of visiting some of our iconic Australian landmarks. Here she is at the Remarkable Rocks in Flinders Chase, SA. The incredible landscape of Kangaroo Island is truly something that needs to be seen. The unique rock formations, shaped by the elements over time, create a landscape that beckons for adventure and exploration. I hope to always foster a love for nature and a sense of wonder in my children. Our time spent on Kangaroo Island will always be a cherished memory, a reminder of the beauty that exists in our world.

“Family is where life begins, and love never ends”
Life begins with us...
There is truly nothing more powerful than the bond of love. It lifts our spirit, inspires courage, and infuses our lives with meaning. Photographing my brother and sister-in-law on their wedding day was such an incredible honour — a day filled with beauty and intimacy, surrounded by their close loved ones who hold them dearly, and feel so privileged to watch their journey unfold.
This particular memory stood out to me the moment it was taken, illustrating love’s simplicity. It doesn’t shout; rather, it whispers softly through shared glances and gentle touches. Two peas in a pod, gazing upon their beautiful baby pea, full of pride and affection, encapsulates the deep connection they share as a family. It’s those genuine, unscripted moments that I cherish most as a photographer.
I hope they look back on this photo often throughout the years, as my baby nephew grows - a beautiful mix of his mum and dad, but most importantly, knowing how much he is loved.
Where it all began
My passion for photography has always been fueled by the connections I share with the people in my life. In 2010, that passion blew up into something extraordinary when this remarkable little girl entered my world.
Here, at just 3 years old, she has always been my muse and has motivated me every single day, reminding me of the beauty in simplicity and the power of love.
I am forever grateful for her, and I want her to know just how deeply I love her. My wonderful girl, you are the reason behind the lens. I love you with all my heart.
We all need a tribe
I thought over the next few weeks or so I would trawl through the archives and post some of my all time favourite photos.
This one has always been a standout for me. There is so much I love about this photo. Our stunning bride Carly surrounded by her gorgeous tribe. Some of the strongest women I know. And we can’t forget little miss feisty pants on the end. She may be little but she is fierce. Don’t mess with her guys.
I am huge believer in women supporting women. We need our villages. It is the way life was intended to be lived. By sharing our stories, mistakes we have made, our triumphs and our lowest of lows. Every laugh, every tear, and every lesson shapes who we are, and together, we become stronger. Let’s continue to instill the need for a village in to our younger generations, where this new digital life threatens to reduce human connection to nothing more than a text message. Nothing will ever replace the need for physical and authentic human connection.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a significant time to reflect on the impact of this disease and to show our unwavering support for those affected by it. We all know someone who has been touched by breast cancer. We’ve witnessed their battles and their resilience, and felt the weight of their diagnosis as it ripples through families and communities. Finding the right words or any offers of help can often feel not enough.
In recognition of this important cause, I am proudly donating 10% of all bookings made from today until the end of October to the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). This organisation provides vital resources and support to individuals facing breast cancer, ensuring that no one has to navigate this challenge alone. Let’s come together to raise awareness and make a difference!
Early detection is crucial. Please remind the wonderful women in your life (and men - this disease does not discriminate) to keep an eye out for any changes and to not overlook anything that feels unusual. By booking a session to capture special moments with your family, you’ll not only create cherished memories but also contribute to this essential cause.
If you’re unable to book a photoshoot at this time but still wish to support the fight against breast cancer, I invite you to consider donating to my fundraising page. Every contribution matters, regardless of size, in this collective effort against breast cancer. Whether it’s wearing pink, participating in fundraising events, or supporting research, your involvement helps foster a supportive community and raise awareness. Let’s make October a month filled with hope and kindness!
Home is where the family is
Returning to this gorgeous family after ten years is a heartwarming experience. From sweet moments with their first newborn to now celebrating the arrival of their fourth baby, it’s amazing how quickly time flies. Their home continues to be the most happy and loving place where each family member, including their cherished old pup Millie, plays a pivotal role in their story.
Capturing these fleeting moments together, I was reminded of how beautifully families evolve over the years. The laughter, the hugs, and the little interactions reveal the bond they share, growing stronger with each passing day. It is the greatest privilege to document their journey and witness the love that fills every corner of their home. Millie, still the beloved guardian of the family, captures photos that prove love endures. With her caring nature and loyalty, she gazes up at her family, holding each member's heart close.
I'm looking forward to sharing these memories with them, preserving this chapter of their lives for years to come. Here's to new adventures, laughter, and all the special memories yet to be made!
A photo of my little loves ♡♡♡
HELLO! It’s Me…
To those who have followed my journey, you may know that I’ve taken a little break from professional photography over the past few years. This wasn’t an intentional decision; the pandemic put a sudden halt to many “non-essential” services, and not long after, we happily discovered we were expecting our long-awaited second baby, Noah. Just shy of Noah’s second birthday, our sweet Flynn joined us, completing our family. Since then, life has been a whirlwind!
I’ve been dreaming about my return to photography and waiting for the right moment to dive back in. With so much of my energy focused on nurturing tiny humans and raising a teenager, it’s been hard to hear my intuition as clearly as before. However, I’ve slowly been accepting a few photography jobs to ease back into it. This has allowed me to dip my toes in the water and reflect on the direction I want to take.
I’m thrilled to share that I am officially opening my books for family sessions! Understanding the cost of living pressures many are facing, I've introduced a mini session option for those who may find a full session challenging to commit to. Everyone deserves beautiful photos of their families!
I can't wait to capture some magical moments and share my new work with you all. Looking forward to creating lasting memories with your families!
With love,

A land of giants
This moment captures the serene beauty of nature, reminding us of the delicate balance it offers. The land, once alive with vibrant growth and stories, now undertakes a journey of recovery, heavy with the memories of the past. The impact of devastating events, like the Black Summer bushfires, serves as a poignant reminder of our connection to the earth and its need for care.
As we move forward, we celebrate both the loss and the resilience of this landscape. It’s a place where dreams were woven into the shadows of towering trees, nurturing our imaginations and instilling a sense of wonder. Even in grief, strength arises from hope—hope that our children will one day experience the awe of these majestic giants and understand the importance of nurturing our planet.
Let us cherish the stories that these spaces hold, honoring the beauty that remains and the new life springing forth. In every whisper of the breeze and rustle of leaves, nature speaks to us, reminding us that with time, healing will prevail, and adventure will beckon once more.

And I’ll take my place there next to thee
No matter how far we may roam
It’s by your side I make my home”

Happy birthday my baby girl. You were literally my saving grace 9 years ago when you charged into my life and changed it in every way possible. I love you so damn much.

Brave
It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are. So be brave my beautiful girl.
The Big Blue
“I feel in every girl there is a spirit,
a wild pixie,
that if let go,
would run and dance in grassy fields
until the end of the world.
And then that girl grows up,
that pixie hides,
but it’s always there,
peeking out behind old eyes.”
